Yong Soo Im - South Korea

Personality – Yong Soo is a happy person, liking to call himself a realist. While optimistic and knowing that things could be worse, he’s very much aware of how bad things are. He’s quick to do his work, often before anyone realizes he’s done with the job. A bit awkward around people, and fearful to those he sees as a possible threat, keeps him sticking close to those he does know. He has a fondness for Kpop, Kdramas, energy drinks, video games, and Arthur’s bed.

Reason for Recruitment - Yong Soo was imprisoned two years ago after he was discovered as an infamous computer hacker that was destroying company databases and draining their accounts. The teen had embezzled millions of dollars, none of which were seen again. Yong Soo never gave any explanation for his actions, how he did it or why. When he was offered the choice of staying in jail or joining PEC, he didn’t hesitate. He knew that he would have to learn a new set of skills; but it was something Yong Soo was willing to do for another chance at life.

Appearance – Yong Soo is 16 years old, five feet three inches, and still growing. He has bright brown eyes and tanned skin. He keeps his hair short, except for one long curl on the top of his head. Usually happy, the only times you’ll see him without a smile are when he’s pouting, or spent all night playing video games and thinks there are Necromorphs in the vents.

History – Born as Dae Hyun Kim to a nice middle class family in Seoul South Korea, Dae Hyun lived a relatively normal life with his parents and twin brother. At the age of eight, Dae Hyun was kidnaped by a large human trafficking ring. Rather than sold, he was taken as a personal pet by one of the higher ups in the organization due to his budding talent with computers. Dae Hyun’s name was changed to Yong Soo Im. His owner had him specially trained as a hacker, forcing Yong Soo to embezzle and wipe out computer systems of business that crossed him.

Yong Soo went with it. As far as he could see, he was lucky. Apart from the occasional act of oral sex, his owner treated him well. As long as he did as he was told, he would be fed three meals a day and left in a room full of video games to entertain him. Yong Soo lived a dream life for someone of his position.

When he was caught and charged with his crimes, he was abandoned by his owner. Yong Soo could have told the truth, put the blame on his former owner and try to be reunited with his family. However, as far as Yong Soo was concerned, Dae Hyun was dead. There was nothing to go back to.

RP Sample – Top drawer held nothing of interest, just files and paper work and a bunch of pens. Second drawer was a bit better with a half empty bottle of whiskey, but still not what he was looking for. Frowning, he rummaged through the other set of drawers, singing along with his headphones. “Mi chi do rok neol won ha go iss eo. Dan haru ra do neo eop si an dwae neun na, oh baby~”

Yong Soo grinned as the third drawer held his find. “ ‘Oxycodone 10 miligrams. Take one to two tablets by mouth every four to six hours as needed for pain.’ Well, I think that’s a bit too much Arthur. It’s time to cut back a little.” Stashing the narcotics away in an empty bottle, the Korean replaced them all with orange pez candies. He was pretty sure Arthur would like the orange ones better than the grape flavor. Putting the original bottle back where he found it, Yong Soo continued singing on the way back to his house. “Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry. Nae ga, nae ga, nae ga, meon jeo.”
